OBCATS are the Action Shooters of the Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club. Competitors move, negotiate obstacles, reload and shoot as fast as their skills allow. We have competitors in all 5 USPSA divisions. You can expect to see every level of competition at our matches from first match to GM level.

Sanctioned USPSA matches are held on the 4th Sunday of every month except December.

We use two formats: static steel and knockdown steel. Unlike static steel, knockdown steel is also shot with shotgun or pistol caliber carbine.

defensive oriented gun sport pocket gun match obdogs IDPA match OBDOGS (defense oriented gun sport) holds monthly IDPA matches every second Sunday at the Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club. DOGS use full power ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense situations. We also hold Pocket Gun matches.

You'll need a defensive handgun with a minimum caliber of 9mm/.38 Special, side belt holster, mag pouches to hold spare mags and 200 rounds.

action shooting at OBRPC .22 rimfire action OBRAMS (Old Bridge Rimfire Action Match Shooters) holds monthly outdoor Action Rimfire Matches at the Old Bridge Outdoor Range. The Matches are held at 10:00 A.M. on the third Saturday of each month between April and November
bulls eye shooting three gun match 2700 match bulls eye shooter bulls eye league pistol sectional NRA classification NJ bullseye top gun NJ Pistol serves Bullseye shooters in NJ and surrounding states. Some of the best pistol shooters in the country are regular participants at our 2700s! These are "3 gun" competitions using .22 caliber, centerfire and .45 caliber handguns. Ninety rounds are fired at 25 yards, one handed, with each of these guns. We practice the same course of fire at our Monday night 900 League.

OB Bullseye League shooters (even .22 shooters) are encouraged to begin earning NRA classifications here at your own club!

OBRPC hosts NRA Registered Indoor 2700 matches in January, March and November. We also host a Conventional Pistol Sectional in February. This is a .22 caliber only "900" fired at 50 feet! It's a great first match opportunity!
